This visa allows you to enter Australia and then marry your fiancé within the visa's nine month validity period.

Note: You can marry your fiancé either in or outside Australia, but you must not marry before you make your first entry to Australia on the visa.

You must:

• be in a fiancé relationship with an Australian citizen, permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen
• enter Australia before you marry your fiancé
• genuinely intend to marry your fiancé
• genuinely intend to live with your fiancé as husband and wife
• be able to legally marry according to Australian law
• have met your fiancé in person (as adults).
